Design and Technology

“Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.” – Steve Jobs

Design Technology at our school empowers students to become creative problem solvers, critical thinkers, and independent innovators. We aim to develop technical expertise alongside imagination, equipping students with practical skills, resilience, and the ability to apply knowledge in real-world contexts. Students learn to design and make products with purpose, sustainability, and functionality at their core, preparing them for both further study and a wide range of careers.

We specialise in Graphic Design, 3D Design (with Product Design and Architectural Design routes available), and Hospitality and Catering. Our class sizes are appropriately set to ensure both safety and the highest quality of teaching and learning. Every specialist area has a dedicated technician to support student progress and maintain professional-standard facilities.
