Examinations

In terms of cohort size we had 146 students on-roll in Year 11 on the January census date. As predicted the strategies employed since the Oct 2012 OFSTED inspection have had a positive impact on results. The schools’ attainment as measured by the 5A*-C inc English and maths is 75% which represents a 16% increase on last year.

Attainment and progress levels in English are ‘outstanding’ and in Maths are ‘good’. Both are sharply above the national average. The schools’ A8 and P8 scores are good, as is our VA score (1013) which is the highest score achieved by the school in recent years. The percentage of students achieving the Ebacc increased by 8% to 42% and is significantly higher than the 2015 NA.

Total Cohort – 146 students (134 with KS2 results)
