Wearing of a school uniform expresses, in a visible way, our belief in the equality of our students. The uniform enhances pride in the school, provides a focus for unity, and a community spirit. The 'green blazer' is well recognised and respected in our local community.

Salvatorian College Uniform

  • Forest-green BLAZER with school badge
  • Plain dark grey or black TROUSERS
  • White SHIRT (No Polo shirts or PE shirts, and no coloured T Shirts to be worn underneath)
  • Official school TIE
  • SOCKS – dark grey or black (no other colour)
  • Conventional and completely plain black leather-type SHOES with black laces (Trainers may be worn at break for football but must be changed before leaving the playground)
  • PULLOVER – Grey ‘V’ neck (Prefects wear black ‘V’ neck pullovers)

  • Black and green Salvatorian College P.E. SHORTS (training pants and long sleve tops may be worn in the winter)

  • Only plain Black or Navy ANORAKS/COATS/PARKAS (small motifs allowed) may be worn

Under NO circumstances are denim, knitted, leather or suede jackets to be worn.  No football jackets, hooded tops, fleeces, track suit tops, or sweatshirts are permitted.

Pupils must wear full school uniform at all times INCLUDING to and from school. 

If, for some reason, you are unable to wear the correct uniform on a particular day, (for example, brown shoes instead of black shoes), you must bring a note of explanation into school and give it to your Form Tutor.
