Reporting and Data 2015/2016

Introduction from the Head teacher

 Dear Parents and Carers

This revised guide has been updated to include the new GCSE grades which will be included from 2016.  Parents have already received details of these changes at our Parent Information Evenings in September 2015.

I am committed to working in partnership with parents to ensure that your sons achieve their maximum potential during the time they are at Salvatorian College.

As a school, we know that our pupils arrive having received a very good start on their educational journey from their different primary schools. We are able to use this as a starting point to predict how well pupils are likely to achieve during their time at Salvatorian College.

Schools want the same for their pupils as parents want for their sons, which is for them to be happy and achieve the best educational outcome as possible.  We want our pupils not only to achieve but exceed their targets. We set our aspirational goal for pupils to achieve better levels of progress than expected.

I would like to thank members of the Parental Focus Group who have assisted in the guide’s completion.

In addition, I would like to thank Mr Coker for his work in leading the school to a better and more sophisticated use of data to drive whole school improvement.

If you have any comments about this publication or questions about the reports you receive from the school, please do not hesitate to contact your son’s Form Tutor, subject teacher, Head of Year  or any member of the School Leadership Team.

Yours sincerely

Paul Kassapian
